“Two and a Half Men” actor Angus T. Jones called the CBS sitcom “filth” and asked viewers to stop watching it.
Jones, 19, has played Jake Harper in “Two and a Half Men” since 2003. In a lengthy video interview with a Seventh-day Adventist pastor, Jones gave what he called a “testimony,” saying ” If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men’ and I don’t want to be on it.”
CBS declined to comment on Jones’s remarks. Jones was unreachable for comment.
Jones described how at age four, his mother introduced him to acting, saying, “It wasn’t anything that I was like ‘I want to be an actor.’ I was four-and-a-half.” He discussed how he dealt with his early wealth, and also how he later found his spirituality and religious belief.
